Tate Patterson

Tate Patterson is an aggressive, high-motor linebacker who competes against some of the top programs in the country. He plays with excellent speed, allowing him to close space quickly and consistently finish plays. Tate is a sure tackler—if he’s around the ball, he makes the stop.

He flows extremely well at linebacker, filling downhill on run plays while also possessing the athleticism to drop back into coverage. Tate combines speed and strength effectively, allowing him to take on blocks, shed defenders, and attack the football.

​

During his junior season, Tate recorded 77 total tackles (38 solo), 10 tackles for loss, 1 interception, 4 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries while competing for one of the top teams in the country.

​

Off the field, Tate is highly dedicated to his development, consistently spending time in the weight room and running position-specific drills to elevate his game. He also excels academically, carrying a 3.9 GPA. Tate is a respectful, well-rounded young man who would be a valuable addition to any college football program. Tate has a DeBree Rating Score of 93, which would place him as a contributor/starter at a Low D1-Mid D2 Program and a contributor/starter at a high NAIA program.
