DeBree Score: 78
Carson Moore is a 2029 athlete getting ready to enter his sophomore season, and he already shows many of the traits that coaches look for in a developing wide receiver. At a young age, Carson has built a very strong foundation, and with the way he continues to work and develop his game, I believe his ceiling is extremely high. He is the type of athlete whose stock has the potential to consistently rise as he gains experience, strength, and confidence over the next few years.

One of the first things that stands out about Carson is his speed and athletic ability. He moves well in space, is able to create separation, and has the ability to make plays both underneath and down the field. Along with his speed, Carson has very reliable hands and does a good job tracking the football. He shows confidence when the ball is in the air and has already demonstrated the ability to make plays in key moments.
Another part of Carson’s game that stands out is his toughness and willingness to be physical. He is not afraid to block on the outside and does a great job helping create opportunities for his running backs. That physical mindset is something coaches love to see from a wide receiver because it shows he is willing to do the little things that help a team win games.

Carson also shows a very high football IQ for his age. He understands how to run routes, recognizes coverages well, and does a great job reacting when a play breaks down. Instead of standing still when a route is covered or a play gets disrupted, Carson naturally works to find open space and give his quarterback a target. That ability to improvise and stay engaged during a play is a trait that separates good players from players with the potential to become great ones.

What is even more impressive is that Carson is already putting in the extra work to improve his craft. He continues to spend time in the weight room building strength, works on improving his speed and athleticism, and attends camps to compete against other athletes while continuing to learn the game. His willingness to work outside of normal team activities shows maturity and a true desire to continue developing as a player.
As Carson continues to physically mature and gain varsity-level experience, I fully expect his game to continue taking major steps forward. The tools are already there, and the combination of talent, work ethic, football IQ, and competitiveness gives him the opportunity to become a very special player in the coming years.

For these reasons, I have given Carson Moore a score of 78 with a 3-star rating.
