Kaleb Buchanan

Coach Buchanan joined the DeBree Football staff in May 2024 and serves as the Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs Coach. He brings a strong background in athletics and coaching, currently also serving as a varsity wrestling coach.

 

A devoted student of the game, Coach Buchanan draws inspiration from legendary coach Nick Saban and his commitment to building complete athletes. He believes that while on-field performance is vital, true success comes from developing character, maturity, and responsibility. His coaching philosophy centers on the idea that the little things—discipline, effort, and attitude—make the biggest difference.

 

Outside of football, Coach Buchanan serves his community as a professional firefighter and paramedic. His experience in public safety has shaped his leadership style, emphasizing teamwork, composure under pressure, and dedication to service.
