Lee Spurgin

Lee Spurgin has been a core member of DeBree Football since its inception, helping shape and develop athletes at every camp. Originally taking over running backs and linebackers, Lee’s versatility allows him to coach nearly any position on the field. His football coaching career began in 2012, and ever since, he has used his deep understanding of the game to guide athletes in building their skills, increasing their confidence, and earning attention from college programs.

Lee currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at Tri Jr/Sr High School. A 2008 graduate of Tri himself, Lee returned to his alma mater with a passion to give back and help grow the next generation of Titans. His coaching impact extends well beyond football—Lee has also coached baseball, girls basketball, and wrestling, showcasing his ability to connect with and inspire athletes across multiple sports.

Off the field, Lee is a dedicated husband, a proud father, and a genuine friend to everyone he meets. His commitment, leadership, and character make him an invaluable asset to DeBree Football and to every athlete who has the opportunity to learn from him.
